I enjoy getting to know each patient I meet and building relationships with them that last long after their treatment is complete. Seeing each patient grow and change, and watching their joy in showing off their smiles is something that never gets old. Each patient is an individual with unique treatment needs that require an individualized approach. This creates a great challenge and a truly great reward – a beautiful, confident smile.
Education and Continuing Education
I began my formal education at the University of Puget Sound where I graduated with honors in Biology. While attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine, I earned merit scholarships, was inducted into the dental national honor society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), and was on the Dean’s List for High Performance on National Dental Boards. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned the Everett Shapiro Endowed Prize Fund in Orthodontics which is given to a graduating senior dental student who demonstrated excellent aptitude in orthodontic skills. My orthodontic residency and Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics was also completed at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, during which I was trained in the latest imaging and clinical techniques, including 3D imaging and temporary anchorage devices. I am Board Certified with the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. I continue my education through national and local meetings and seminars in order to stay current with the latest technology and techniques regarding orthodontic treatment. Since graduating, I have continued my education through national and local meetings and seminars in order to stay current with the latest technology and techniques regarding orthodontic treatment.

In the Community
In addition to my academic pursuits while in dental school, I also had the opportunity to volunteer with Smile, Share, and Care which provided pediatric dental education and outreach to children of all ages. Since completing my orthodontic residency program I have had the opportunity to work for a non-profit organization which provides dental and orthodontic care to the underserved population in Maine. I enjoyed this experience very much, but had an equal desire to return to where I grew up. I am excited for the opportunity to give back to the community which gave so much to me growing up.
I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters and therapeutic equine riding programs which gave mentally and physically challenged adults and children the opportunity to work on their occupational and physical therapy needs while riding horses and interacting with other animals. I am a member of the Billings West End Rotary Club which is a community service organization.
Outside the Office
Born in Iowa City, I moved to Billings as a toddler and spent my entire young life here. With my return back to Montana I am excited to be able to enjoy the great opportunities this wonderful area has to offer. Outside of dentistry I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hiking, skiing, and most of all horses and other animals.
